Why convert a PNG to JPG?

A photo or a screenshot full of color is often several times smaller as a JPG, which makes it quicker to send and to upload.

What happens to transparent parts?

They become white. JPG has no transparency, so a logo or icon on a clear background is better kept as a PNG.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. Your browser does the converting, on this computer. Nothing is sent to tilora.io or anywhere else.

Can I convert other formats?

Yes: HEIC, WebP, GIF and most pictures your browser can open. A GIF becomes a still JPG of its first frame.
