Free tools

WebP to JPG, for every app.

Pictures saved from the web often come as WebP, which some apps won’t open. Make them JPGs here, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Quality

Made on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Where a WebP is see-through, the JPG is white, since JPG can’t be clear.

Tilora

Faster still, from your notch.

With Tilora, drag a WebP to the top of your screen and let go on Transform. Choose JPEG, PNG or HEIC, and the copy appears beside the original.

Free for 7 days. Then $9.99, once. macOS 14 or later.

How to use it

  1. Choose your WebP pictures, or drop them on the box above.
  2. Each becomes a JPG as soon as it’s in.
  3. Click Download beside each one, or Download all.

Questions

What is a WebP?

A picture format many websites use because it’s small. Browsers show it, but some apps and upload forms still only take JPG or PNG.

Does the JPG look the same?

Best keeps it as close to the original as a JPG can. Smaller file saves space, with a difference you’d need to look hard to see.

What about animated WebPs?

They become a still JPG of the first frame.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. Your browser does the converting, on this device. Nothing is sent to tilora.io or anywhere else.
